Job Responsibility:

Delivering Food Technology to KS4 cohort
helping to shape a high‑quality, relevant and engaging curriculum that develops practical skills, food science understanding and nutritional awareness
fostering creativity, independence and technical proficiency through hands‑on practical learning
confident use of specialist equipment
strong focus on health, safety and food hygiene
curriculum planning
leading enrichment
developing extracurricular cooking clubs
mentoring colleagues
contributing to whole‑school teaching and learning initiatives

Requirements:

Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) including a Children’s Barred List check for posts carrying out a regulated activity
commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
