Job Responsibility
Deliver high-quality, engaging English lessons that challenge and inspire pupils of all abilities
Plan, prepare, and assess coursework and examinations in line with national curriculum standards
Create a positive, structured, and collaborative learning environment within the classroom
Support the wider department in curriculum development and sharing best practices
Contribute to the academy's journey towards outstanding educational achievement
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
A degree in English or a closely related subject
A strong understanding of the UK English curriculum across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a plus)
Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
Nice to have
Key Stage 5 experience is a plus
