Job Description:

As a long-term English Teacher in Bradford, you will be more than just an educator; you will be a mentor. You will deliver a high-quality curriculum that challenges students to think beyond their horizons. This role involves collaborative planning with a team dedicated to raising aspirations and ensuring English remains a beacon of excellence.

Job Responsibility:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons & Track student progress
Marking, feedback, and attending departmental meetings
Prepare students for GCSE exams and manage classroom behaviour
Foster a love for reading and create inclusive resources
Communicate with parents and contribute to extracurricular

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum for English
Eligibility to work in the UK
Enhanced Child DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
Exceptional communication & Emotional intelligence
Data analysis for intervention
Adaptive teaching methods
High-level literacy & Collaborative teamwork
