Job Responsibility
Deliver high-quality, engaging English and Media lessons across Years 7-13
Plan and prepare innovative, differentiated lessons that challenge and support students of all abilities
Foster a love for language, literature, and contemporary media analysis
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, ensuring every student has the tools to succeed
Collaborate actively within a vibrant, well-resourced department
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A relevant degree in English, Media, or a related discipline
Proven experience teaching English and/or Media across KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5
Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to inclusive, high-impact teaching
A passion for continuous professional development
