You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Economics lessons, with a primary focus on A-Level students, helping them navigate complex theories, market dynamics, and global fiscal policies.
Job Responsibility:
Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and teach stimulating Economics lessons across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5 (A-Level)
Drive Achievement: Support students in achieving their target grades through effective assessment, feedback, and exam preparation
Curriculum Development: Contribute to the development of the Economics curriculum, ensuring it remains current and challenging
Student Support: Act as a mentor and guide for students, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting independent thinking
Collaborate: Work closely with the Social Sciences department to share best practices and resources
Requirements:
A degree in Economics (or a related subject) and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS
Proven experience teaching Economics at the A-Level stage
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex economic models
A genuine enthusiasm for the subject and a commitment to student progress and well-being
A professional approach to teaching and a desire to integrate into the school community
