Job Responsibility:
Following our curriculum and pedagogical approaches
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of our students
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes excellent behaviour, a love for learning and character development
Use a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to enhance the learning experience
Ensure that a passion for the subject is communicated during your lessons
Set targets with students and provide timely and constructive feedback to students to support their academic progress and development
Monitor and keep records of student progress
Attend departmental meetings and collaborate with members of the department on areas such as curriculum writing and review
assessment design and moderation
and departmental development plans
Comply with departmental procedures, such as assessment procedures and tracking
Comply with school wide expectations, such as prompt and accurate registration of students and reporting
Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement interdepartmental projects and activities, making use of Global Classroom and Nord Anglia’s associations with Julliard, UNICEF and MIT
Attend Academic Review Days and maintain open communication with parents to provide insight into students' progress
As required, carry out the role of a Form Tutor to support students in their personal and academic growth
Commit to ongoing professional development
Contribute to the school's LEAP activities programme and events, promoting a holistic approach to education
Fulfil active supervision and lesson cover duties as required
Requirements:
Hold an honours degree in a relevant subject area
Possess UK QTS or equivalent
Have a record of teaching Drama in an English-speaking school environment
A strong record of professional development
Demonstrate a high level of personal integrity and professionalism
Exhibit a passion for international education, in particular for drama, and a good understanding of best practice
Motivated, with a sense of humour, responsibility, enthusiasm, and accountability
Work as a team player who is willing to help and be flexible
Conscientious, reliable, and respectful
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Competent use of technology for teaching and administrative purposes
Developed organisational skills
You will have a university degree in a relevant subject, a teaching qualification plus relevant teaching experience and knowledge
You will also be able to meet visa-related restrictions for Poland
