Shireland CBSO Academy, opened in September 2023, is a unique institution established in partnership with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. Job Responsibility:

  • Building and shaping the subject
  • Contributing to the development of an engaging, modern curriculum
  • Embedding strong foundations as we prepare students for more advanced study
  • Delivering the subject at KS4, ensuring pupils are inspired, challenged and well‑prepared for examination success
  • Working collaboratively with our Music Technology pathways at KS4 and KS5, developing cross‑curricular links

Requirements:

  • Strong subject knowledge
  • Passion for digital innovation
  • Enthusiasm to inspire the next generation of digital creators, problem‑solvers and computational thinkers
  • Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) including a Children’s Barred List check
