Job Description:

An ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School in Hackney is seeking a Teacher of Chemistry / Science Teacher for a full-time, permanent role starting in September 2025. The position offers opportunities for TLR responsibilities or specialized mentoring for Early Careers Teachers (ECTs). Applicants must possess UK QTS or equivalent qualifications, meet high teaching standards, and demonstrate the ability to work in a team setting in a well-supported and high-achieving school environment.

Job Responsibility:

Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
working alongside a team of fantastic Science Teachers
TLR Opportunities such as KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
ECTs welcome with one-on-one mentoring, bespoke NQT induction, in-house and external training

Requirements:

Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
you must be able to work as part of a large team of Science Teachers
must be willing to listen to feedback
