Job Description

We are seeking a Teacher of Business to join an Outstanding school in Surrey from September 2026, on a full-time or part-time basis. Candidates can indicate their preferred FTE on their initial enquiry. The business and economics department offers the following courses at Key Stage 4 (KS4) and Key Stage 5 (KS5): GCSE Business (AQA), A Level Economics (AQA), A Level Business (AQA), Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Business (OCR). The department has grown significantly over recent years and currently has six teaching staff. The department pride themselves on their results, subject knowledge, extracurricular activities and additional support provided to all students.

Job Responsibility

  • Teach GCSE Business (AQA)
  • Teach A Level Economics (AQA)
  • Teach A Level Business (AQA)
  • Teach Cambridge Technical Extended Certificate in Business (OCR)
  • Provide extracurricular activities including outside speakers, lecture visits to Polecon conference, annual trip to Brussels
  • Provide support for pupils in exam technique and subject knowledge
