Job Responsibility:
Plan and deliver high-quality Business and Economics lessons, adhering to the national curriculum and exam board specifications (GCSE and A-Level)
Inspire students to engage deeply with global economic trends, business ethics, and the practicalities of the modern commercial world
Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback to help them achieve their personal and academic goals
Foster a classroom environment based on mutual respect, inclusivity, and a curiosity about how the world works
Participate in departmental and whole-school initiatives to promote financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and student development
Contribute to the wider life of the school community through extracurricular activities (such as Young Enterprise or Investment Clubs) or pastoral support
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong subject knowledge of Business and Economics, with the ability to teach up to A-Level
A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to student progress and achievement
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An understanding and appreciation of the school's Christian ethos and values
