Job Description:

Are you a passionate Music professional ready to inspire the next generation of performers, producers and composers? Do you have the industry experience and creative drive to help students develop the skills, confidence and mindset needed for a career in music? We need a committed and inspiring Music teacher with experience delivering vocational programmes to Level 2 and 3 students, or sufficient industry knowledge & experience and a desire to develop classroom skills. Joining a fantastically equipped, busy, successful and inclusive department, your skillset will be related to a combination of music rehearsal & performance, recording & production and composition. Alongside this you will have the knowledge and desire to help young people develop industry awareness, skills and behaviours for their future careers.

Job Responsibility:

  • Planning, teaching and assessing L2 and L3 UAL Music
  • Leading practical workshops and rehearsals ahead of assessed recordings and performances
  • The potential to lead on our newly launched Level 2 programme – shaping industry professionals of the future from day one of their journey

Requirements:

  • A background in Music with specialism(s) in gig performance, studio recording and DAW based production
  • The ability to lead inspiring, energetic and industry relevant lessons and workshops
  • The passion to work flexibly to deliver rehearsals and evening shows when needed
