Job Responsibility:

  • Planning, delivery and assessment of Higher Education, including knowledge of CAD/CAM up to Level 5
  • Planning, delivering and developing teaching/learning programmes using a flexible range of strategies and learning styles
  • Taking responsibility for quality of teaching and related curriculum development that meet learner needs
  • Assessing learners progress in College or on work experience and devise assessment processes against highly personalised progress targets
  • Planning, delivery and assessment of practical skills in the areas of fitting, milling and turning at Level 2 and Level 3

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching CAD and mechanical engineering including maths and science
  • Be enthusiastic, resilient and highly motivated
  • Literacy and Numeracy to at least Level 2
  • Must have a Level 3/4 qualification or relevant NVQ (or equivalent)
  • Level 5 Diploma (DTLLS) or equivalent within 2 years of appointment
  • Relevant assessment qualifications – IQA/A1/V1
  • Evidence of current Continuous Professional Development

Level 4 Teaching Qualification: Certificate in Education/ PGCE/Bachelor of Education
