Job Responsibility:
Deliver and assess specialist units across Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma, AAQ Engineering, A Level Physics and/or Electronics
Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and engaging teaching materials to support student learning
Monitor learner progress, set meaningful targets and provide high-quality bespoke support
Ensure compliance with quality standards and college policies
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Requirements:
A degree, apprenticeship, or industrial experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering or a related discipline such as Physics or Maths
Proven track record of outstanding learner outcomes
Experience in teaching and assessment within Further/Higher Education, especially BTEC National Extended Diploma and Level 2 City & Guilds
The ability/willingness to upskill to deliver CAD is highly desirable
