Are you an experienced and passionate Physics, Maths or Engineering professional looking to inspire the next generation of engineers? Worthing College is recruiting a Teacher to join our vibrant and dynamic Physics, Electronics and Engineering Department and help shape our students' future careers. Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver and assess specialist units across Level 3 BTEC National Extended Diploma, AAQ Engineering, A Level Physics and/or Electronics
  • Develop schemes of work, lesson plans and engaging teaching materials to support student learning
  • Monitor learner progress, set meaningful targets and provide high-quality bespoke support
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and college policies
  • Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives

Requirements:

  • A degree, apprenticeship, or industrial experience in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical engineering or a related discipline such as Physics or Maths
  • Proven track record of outstanding learner outcomes
  • Experience in teaching and assessment within Further/Higher Education, especially BTEC National Extended Diploma and Level 2 City & Guilds
  • The ability/willingness to upskill to deliver CAD is highly desirable
