Are you looking for an opportunity to inspire the next generation of Early Years professionals? Do you want to lead and shape a vibrant Level 2 course within a supportive Further Education team? We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teacher to join our dedicated team for a maternity cover position, teaching Level 2 students from August 2026 to February 2027. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of learners, working within a welcoming and collaborative Further Education environment. You will play a pivotal role in course leading, teaching, and possibly assessing, depending on your experience. This exciting role will include: Leading and delivering engaging lessons for Level 2 Early Years students; Providing pastoral support and guidance to learners throughout their studies; Course leading and ensuring high standards of teaching and learning; (If applicable) Assessing student work and providing constructive feedback. If you can demonstrate the following, then we’d love to hear from you: Experience teaching Level 2 Early Years courses within a Further Education setting; A teaching and assessing qualification (or willingness to gain one); Strong organisational and communication skills; Ability to inspire and motivate students. Closing date: 31st May 2026. Interview Date: W/C 8th June - TBC. College location: Based at our Lewes Campus. Annual salary: Circa £30,000 - £42,000 FTE. Hours: Part Time – 36.5 Hours – Fixed Term Contract until Feb 2027. (Maternity Cover.) Start date August 2026.
