Serve as a single‑practitioner metadata and taxonomy lead, setting standards, templates, and repeatable processes
Requirements
Hands‑on experience developing and implementing taxonomies and metadata across enterprise platforms to improve search, reuse, and AI experiences
Experience designing and operationalizing metadata governance, including standards, templates, workflows, and quality rules
Strong stakeholder facilitation skills, with the ability to reconcile competing mental models into a shared framework
Ability to work independently in a less‑mature or greenfield environment and deliver production‑ready outcomes
Bachelor’s degree in information science, library science, semantics, ontology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of professional experience in taxonomy, metadata, ontology, or related disciplines
Demonstrated experience supporting AI‑enabled or search‑driven experiences using structured metadata
