Working as part of Vilnius team, you will be responsible for providing support on all indirect tax impacts to our clients in Luxembourg, France, the UK across a range of different client segments, including private equity, real estate, commercial companies and investment funds.
Job Responsibility:
Working as part of Vilnius team, responsible for providing support on all indirect tax impacts to our clients in Luxembourg, France, the UK across a range of different client segments
in charge of indirect tax compliance matters including: Preparation and review of Luxembourg, French and/or the UK VAT returns
Preparation and review of EC Sales listings reports
Analysis of client activities to determine their VAT treatment
Consulting and assistance in VAT registrations and deregistration, subscription tax return matters
Control of return preparation process and collection of necessary approvals
Submission of VAT returns to respective Authorities
Assisting internal operational teams on questions related to EU VAT compliance obligations, internal Alter Domus processes and other indirect tax matters
Work on process optimisation tasks such as working file templates, procedure documentation, knowledge sharing, training content
support, develop a team of junior talents and ensure high quality delivery
prepare internal and externals newsletters, articles and brochures on new VAT issues
assist and later deliver technical indirect tax training sessions held on a regularly basis within the company
Requirements:
Relevant experience working with indirect tax consulting or compliance in any EU countries and/or the UK
familiarity with the tax challenges within an international organization
strong academic background with a degree in accounting, finance, economics or a related discipline
high level of IT literacy with strong Excel and Word skills
fluency in English
knowledge of French would be considered as an asset
strong interpersonal skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills
proactive, with the ability to multi-task and learn quickly, and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment
possess team spirit, risk awareness and high integrity when dealing with confidential information
ability to work under pressure and meet a range of deadlines
