Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Trainee to join a growing professional services environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are pursuing a career in taxation and wish to gain hands-on experience supporting clients, meeting compliance requirements, and working closely with senior tax professionals in a structured and fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare tax computations in accordance with applicable regulations
  • Provide guidance to clients on tax implications and compliance matters
  • Coordinate with the Inland Revenue Department on tax-related issues
  • Support the team in meeting statutory tax deadlines accurately and on time
  • Assist the Tax Manager with ad-hoc duties and assignments as required
  • Maintain proper documentation and records related to tax filings

Requirements

  • Fully qualified in AAT or partly qualified in CA / CMA / ACCA / CIMA
  • Currently reading or completed a taxation course or degree will be an added advantage
  • Fair knowledge of taxation principles
  • Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
  • Sound knowledge of MS Office packages
  • Ability to work well within a team and meet deadlines
