The Tax Team Lead will be responsible for providing direction, instruction and guidance to the Tax Specialist. This is an accounting support position in a fast-paced centralized accounting services environment providing financial services to community associations throughout North America. Candidates for this position must meet Associa's credit requirements.
Job Responsibility
Provide direction, instruction and guidance to the Tax Specialist
Assist the Tax Supervisor with Interviews to fill positions for the Tax Department
Assure the Tax Specialists receive proper training and assist in all aspects of Association processes
Know the tasks that are required of the Tax Specialists
Confirm accuracy of all processes and procedures
Assist in developing departmental procedures
Occasional work on weekends may be required
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or minimum 3 years of experience in tax
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience
Nice to have
Complete Control for Communities (C3) software
Understanding of, or experience in, the Community Association Management Industry
Experience working in an Accounting Shared Services Center environment
