Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Staff - Corporate team member to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will support various tax-related processes, including compliance, filings, and audits, while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. This position offers an opportunity to collaborate with internal teams and external advisors to manage corporate tax responsibilities effectively.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and file multi-state sales tax and franchise tax returns accurately and on time
  • Work closely with external tax advisors to ensure proper filing of US Federal and international income tax returns
  • Support the preparation and submission of tax filings for European subsidiaries and affiliated entities
  • Conduct research and provide timely responses to inquiries regarding sales tax, state, and Federal income tax matters
  • Review and respond to notices from tax authorities, ensuring proper resolution
  • Assist in managing and supporting tax audits, providing necessary documentation and analysis
  • Research and advise on compliance-related tax issues to ensure adherence to regulations
  • Collaborate with the Corporate Tax Manager to streamline and enhance tax processes

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate tax roles
  • Strong knowledge of corporate income tax regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in managing sales and use tax filings
  • Familiarity with annual income tax provision processes
  • Experience working with multi-state tax filings and international tax matters
  • Ability to conduct tax-related research and provide clear recommendations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
