Job Description:

The Tax Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role responsible for testing tax systems, reporting system defects, managing payments to tax authorities, resolving complex problems, and overseeing processes related to Citi's custody business and US Withholding agent responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for testing tax systems to support Citi's Custody business
tracking and reporting system defect which support Citi's US Withholding agent responsibilities
may participate in managing payments to tax authorities in compliance with specific tax regulations
resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes
manages one or more processes, reports, procedures or products
interacts daily with Technology teams
perform other duties and functions as assigned
acts as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members

Requirements:

5-8+ years of relevant experience
Bachelors degree
strong communication and diplomacy skills
good analytical skills
ability to operate with limited supervision
independence of judgement and autonomy
expertise in tax systems and supporting US Withholding agent responsibilities
knowledge in managing payments to tax authorities
ability to resolve complex problems or transactions
ability to interact daily with Technology teams
