Job Description:

The Tax Specialist performs relatively complex assignments, applying technical and professional principles with minimal supervision. Responsible for tax compliance, financial reporting, planning, and managing payments. Requires risk assessment and adherence to laws, policies, and business practices.

Job Responsibility:

Overall management of tax liabilities
planning, accounting, filing, and reporting of tax liability
determining and compiling information required for income tax filing and related requirements
managing payments to tax authorities
ensuring quality of tasks or services provided
coordinating efforts and resources to achieve functional objectives
seeking options to enhance productivity
directing clerical or administrative work
assessing risk when making business decisions
driving compliance with laws, rules, and regulations
applying sound ethical judgment
reporting control issues with transparency

Requirements:

2-4 years of experience
high school diploma or equivalent
knowledge of the organization, the business, and its policies
ability to assess risks and comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations
tact and diplomacy when exchanging complex or sensitive information
ability to work with little to no direct supervision
working knowledge of technical and professional principles and concepts
in-depth knowledge of team focus
ability to ensure the quality and service of self and others
