We’re looking for a Tax Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll support the Senior Director of Tax in managing the tax functions of all entities within our organization, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and providing strategic guidance on tax planning. This position involves handling complex tax matters, including those related to our operations in U.S., Canada, Israel, and India.
Job Responsibility:
Execute all tax-related activities for the organization and its subsidiaries
Ensure timely and accurate filing of federal, state, local and international income and gross receipt tax returns
Work with the R&D team to ensure accurate and timely release of Forms 1099 and T4A for U.S. and Canadian real estate agents
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting for tax purposes
Support cross-border tax operations in Canada, Israel, and India
Automate tax processes to be more effective and efficient in tax compliance and reporting
Serve as internal point of contact for tax-related inquiries during audits
Stay informed about changes in tax laws and regulations
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in corporate tax department
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance
CPA certification preferred
Knowledge of U.S. income tax laws and regulations
Excellent communication and people skills
Good analytical and critical thinking skills
Strong proficiency in Excel
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance
Nice to have:
Familiarity with Canadian tax laws is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Enterprise Resource Planning software is a plus
