Job Responsibility:
Manage a portfolio of personal tax and corporate tax clients
Prepare and review self-assessment tax returns and corporate tax returns
Assist with tax planning and advisory projects for individuals and businesses
Review tax computations and supporting documentation
Support clients with capital gains tax (CGT), inheritance tax (IHT) and tax planning matters
Liaise directly with clients and respond to HMRC queries and correspondence
Identify tax planning opportunities and provide practical advice
Support and mentor junior members of the tax team
Ensure compliance with current UK tax legislation and HMRC requirements
Requirements:
ATT, CTA, ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified (or qualified by experience)
Strong experience in personal tax and/or corporate tax within accountancy practice
Excellent knowledge of UK tax compliance and HMRC regulations
Experience preparing or reviewing self-assessment and corporate tax returns
Strong communication and client relationship skills
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
A proactive and organised approach to work
