Tax Senior

• Prepare and review individual (1040), partnership, and S corporation tax returns
• Manage multiple tax engagements and deadlines during busy season and throughout the year
• Communicate directly with clients to gather information, answer questions, and resolve tax matters
• Identify tax issues, planning opportunities, and potential risks
• Research tax questions and apply federal and state tax regulations appropriately
• Support clients year-round with extensions, estimates, notices, and planning
• Work with businesses in service, retail, construction, and professional services
• Mentor and support junior staff as needed
• Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure efficient workflows and high-quality client service

• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Hands-on experience with individual, partnership, and S-corp returns
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required)
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of federal and state tax compliance
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
• Strong communication skills and client-service mindset
• Experience with small to midsize business clients is a plus
