Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join our team in North Dallas, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with a keen attention to detail and a strong background in corporate tax compliance and annual income tax provisions. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring forward-thinking tax reporting and compliance with regulations.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare and review corporate income tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulations
  • Manage annual income tax provisions and provide detailed analysis to support financial reporting
  • Conduct thorough reviews of sales and use tax filings to minimize risks and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to address complex tax issues and provide solutions
  • Evaluate and test tax systems for efficiency and compliance, recommending improvements where necessary
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, applying them effectively to corporate practices
  • Assist with audits and resolve tax-related inquiries from external agencies
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize corporate tax processes
  • Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff on tax-related tasks and compliance procedures
  • Support public tax reporting and ensure alignment with organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate tax, including compliance and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of corporate income tax regulations and provisions
  • Experience with sales and use tax compliance processes
  • Proven ability to work with public tax reporting and related requirements
  • Proficiency in evaluating and testing tax systems for accuracy and efficiency
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with teams and external agencies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
