Job Responsibility

  • Lead tax planning, compliance, and consulting engagements for real estate clients, ensuring work is completed accurately and on schedule
  • Oversee the preparation and review of corporate tax returns and related filings while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations
  • Manage annual income tax provision activities and provide guidance on reporting requirements and technical tax matters
  • Advise clients on entity formation considerations and the tax implications of various organizational structures
  • Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax tools to support tax preparation, reporting, and workflow management
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop tax professionals by reviewing deliverables, providing feedback, and supporting career growth
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by serving as a trusted advisor on real estate tax issues and business objectives
  • Collaborate with internal teams and firm leadership to identify opportunities for expanded services and practice development

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of tax experience, with a significant focus in public accounting
  • Demonstrated expertise in serving real estate clients and managing complex tax engagements
  • Strong background in annual income tax provision and corporate tax return review
  • Hands-on experience with CCH ProSystem Fx and CCH Sales Tax
  • Knowledge of entity formation and the tax treatment of different business structures
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality client service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical tax concepts clearly
