Job Responsibility:

Lead tax engagements for businesses and individuals, ensuring compliance and strategic tax planning
Provide expert guidance on tax strategies, regulations, and opportunities for clients
Review and oversee tax returns, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Mentor and train junior tax staff, fostering professional development within the team
Stay up to date with evolving tax laws and regulations to provide proactive client solutions
Meet productivity and efficiency standards (billable hours)

Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Required – Must hold an active CPA license
Minimum of 3-5 years in public accounting, with a focus on tax consulting
Deep understanding of federal and state tax codes, regulations, and compliance
Ability to identify tax-saving opportunities and develop innovative strategies
Adept at managing client relationships and mentoring staff
Proficiency in tax preparation software and financial systems (Ultra Tax experience a bonus)
