The Tax Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Job Responsibility:
Responsible for the overall management of the tax liabilities, of Citi, both directly and in connection with transactions with clients, including the related compliance, financial reporting, planning and controversy processes.
Contributes to the planning, accounting, filing and the reporting of tax liability of the company.
Assists in determining and compiling information required to satisfy income tax filing and related requirements at all levels of jurisdiction.
May participate in managing payments to tax authorities in compliance with specific tax regulations.
Resolves complex problems or transactions, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes.
Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and considered analytical or procedural "expert" representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
Directs day-to-day work of junior level employees.
Perform other duties and functions as assigned

Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Requirements:
5-8+ years of relevant experience
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Manage and cultivate relationships with third-party vendor, addressing inquiries, facilitating training, and handling escalations to ensure seamless collaboration and service delivery.
Provide comprehensive oversight of various workstreams, ensuring the accurate and timely resolution of inquiries from a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Chair and facilitate recurring meetings with internal team members and stakeholders, fostering proactive communication and ensuring critical issues are effectively tracked and resolved without delay.
Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities for application upgrades, including the development of test plans, execution of testing cycles, and thorough post-implementation verification.
Maintain oversight of operational workflows, monitor shared communication channels, and efficiently manage escalations to uphold operational efficiency and facilitate prompt issue resolution.
Act as the dedicated primary point of contact for all NAM Due Diligence inquiries.
