Welch LLP is currently hiring for a temporary Tax Season Assistant for our Campbellford office. This position is for three months and will be onsite at our office in Campbellford. Contract length: 3 months with opportunity leading to part-time throughout year. Schedule: Monday to Friday.
Job Responsibility:
Sort and calculate client tax information for return preparation and processing afterwards
Process client payments of cash, cheque or POS
Printing, emailing, faxing, filing and updating/maintaining detailed tracking lists
Respond accurately and timely to partner, staff and outside requests
Call clients to let them know their returns are ready for pickup
Other responsibilities as needed
Requirements:
Experience as a receptionist or office manager
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service focus
Strong organization skills and attention to detail
Ability to work with numbers
demonstrates accuracy
Ability to follow directions, instructions/procedures efficiently and accurately
Works well under pressure
Strong teaming skills
Nice to have:
Accounting or bookkeeping experience would be an asset
