Job Description:

The Tax Reclaim Analyst is a developing professional role that applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for the overall management of the tax liabilities of Citi
Contributes to the planning, accounting, filing and the reporting of tax liability of the company
Assists in determining and compiling information required to satisfy income tax filing and related requirements
May participate in managing payments to tax authorities
Frequent interaction with the business, custodians and the asset services team
Advises on procedures and concepts in technical/subject area
Improves process efficiencies in harmony of unit goals
Perform General ledger reconciliations
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made

Requirements:

Relevant experience in similar role within Tax Reclaim relief at source
Bachelors degree
Support Technology projects from a tax technical perspective and perform UAT testing
Work as part of team to ensure all tax reclaim and relief at source activities are covered to the highest standard with a 'no surprises' attitude
Support audits by tax authorities and Internal Audit
