Job Description:

We are seeking individuals for seasonal job opportunities for tax preparers. These individuals would prepare 1040 income tax returns and may work with partnership, corporate, limited liability company entities by performing bookkeeping services and/or income tax preparation. The ideal candidate would be a CPA, Enrolled Agent, Attorney or other professional tax designation who is familiar with Quickbooks. Employer is flexible. Special consideration given to those who are bilingual in English and Spanish and with prior tax preparation and Quickbooks experience. These temporary positions start approximately January 1st and ends April 15th. This position can lead to permanent career opportunities. If hired permanently, the following employee benefits may apply.

Job Responsibility:

  • Prepare 1040 income tax returns
  • May work with partnership, corporate, limited liability company entities by performing bookkeeping services and/or income tax preparation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 2+ years of tax related work experience
  • CPA certificate, EA license or actively pursuing those credentials
  • Knowledge and familiarity with Form 1120, 1120S, 1065, and 1040 and related schedules
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks
  • Excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills

Nice to have:

  • Knowledge of Spanish language desirable
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Prior tax preparation and Quickbooks experience
