Job Description:

We are looking for a highly motivated tax expert in real estate and construction to take on a key role in growing our Tax Practice. We are currently seeking an ambitious, people-oriented, servant leader with drive and high aspirations who can elevate our firm culture and performance.

Job Responsibility:

  • Professionally manage client relationships
  • Assist in training and supervising junior staff
  • Perform tax planning for high-net-worth clients
  • Review corporate, individual, partnership, fiduciary, and other tax returns
  • Conduct tax research and present to the department on new tax legislation
  • Assist in establishing policies to improve efficiency
  • Mentor and train managers, seniors, and staff
  • Represent the firm at networking events
  • Bring in new business

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting
  • Licensed CPA and active in the state of Ohio
  • 10 or more years of tax experience at a public accounting firm (preferably at a regional firm)
  • Proficient with CCH tax software products
