Tax Preparer

• Prepare and review individual tax returns (Form 1040) with accuracy and efficiency
• Handle business tax filings, including Forms 1120S and 1065, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations
• Utilize Ultra Tax software to complete and manage tax preparation tasks
• Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents to identify tax-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and answer tax-related inquiries
• Assist in tax planning strategies to optimize financial outcomes for clients
• Ensure timely filing of all tax returns while adhering to deadlines
• Stay updated on current tax laws and regulations to provide informed guidance
• Address any discrepancies or issues related to tax filings promptly
• Maintain organized records and documentation for auditing purposes

• Proven experience in tax preparation, including individual and business returns
• Proficiency with Ultra Tax software is essential
• Strong knowledge of tax forms such as 1040, 1120S, and 1065
• Familiarity with current tax laws and regulations
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines during the tax season
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
• CPA certification or equivalent qualification is preferred but not required
