Job Description:

Work one-on-one with customers. Prepare their tax returns and get them their maximum refund. Encourage customers to meet with a customer support volunteer to talk money and savings.

Job Responsibility:

Prepare state and federal tax returns using TaxSlayer software
Ask customers if they’d like to save some of their refund
Direct customers to work with the customer support volunteer to talk financial services
Provide stellar customer service and maintain customer privacy

Requirements:

Knowledge of basic income tax preparation and meet one of the following: Have filed your own tax return
Taken a tax law or income tax accounting course at the college level
Work in the accounting field
Ability to effectively communicate and engage with customers
Computer proficient
Enjoy working in an ethnically and socio-economically diverse environment
