Tax Accountant / Tax Preparer - A dynamic CPA firm in Southern California is seeking a Tax Accountant to join their team. This role is based outside of Del Mar and would be a mostly remote role for candidates anywhere in California. The role involves a variety of tax responsibilities, from preparation and review to strategic planning.

Job Responsibility

  • Prepare and review tax returns for small- mid size corporations
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to identify tax-saving opportunities
  • Assist with tax planning and compliance strategies
  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to provide exceptional service

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA or EA license preferred
  • 4+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong technical skills in tax and accounting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
