Tax office in Asheville is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join their team. Contract opportunity through tax season. Regular business hours, Monday-Friday, 8:00 - 5:00.

  • Operate scanning equipment to digitize paper documents
  • Ensure all documents are scanned accurately and legibly
  • Index and categorize scanned documents for easy retrieval
  • Verify the quality of scanned documents and rescan as necessary
  • Enter and update information in the firm's document management system
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic filing systems
  • Assist in managing the flow of documents within the office, ensuring they are properly tracked and stored
  • Provide general clerical support to the administrative and accounting teams
  • Assist with filing, photocopying, and other administrative tasks as required
  • Respond to requests for information and access relevant files as needed
  • Back up to front desk
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
