We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our team in Boulder, Colorado. In this role, you will oversee tax compliance processes, provide strategic guidance on tax planning, and ensure adherence to federal and state regulations. Job Responsibility

  • Utilize CCH ProSystem Fx to streamline tax preparation and reporting processes
  • Handle sales tax filings, ensuring timely submission and compliance with state regulations
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize financial outcomes for the organization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex tax issues and provide solutions
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation and advise on necessary adjustments to company practices
  • Train and mentor entry-level staff, supporting their growth and development in tax-related matters
  • Conduct audits and ensure proper documentation for all tax-related activities

Requirements

  • Proven experience in corporate tax preparation and compliance
  • Proficiency in using CCH ProSystem Fx and other tax software tools
  • Strong understanding of annual income tax provisions and their application
  • Familiarity with sales tax filing and state-level tax regulations
  • Knowledge of entity formation processes and associated tax considerations
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax laws
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and present findings
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA certification preferred
