Job Description:

The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing all tax-related responsibilities within the organization ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws. This role will involve managing the company’s tax planning and reporting activities, identifying tax-saving opportunities, mitigating tax risks, and coordinating with external auditors and tax advisors.

Job Responsibility:

Timely preparing and filing of all tax returns
Identify and mitigate tax risks
Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly projections
Develop tax strategies
Prepare tax account journal entries
Review and analyze financial statements
Implement best practices and improvements
Coordinate tax audits
Review staff tax transactions
Oversee special tax related projects

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in public accounting tax
CPA preferred
Experience with tax software and ERP systems
QuickBooks preferred
Excellent analytical and problem-solving knowledge
Must have excellent presentation skills
