Tax Manager

• Supervise and manage the workflow of tax-related tasks to ensure deadlines are met with efficiency
• Review and approve individual, corporate, partnership, and federal income tax returns for accuracy and compliance
• Provide mentorship and guidance to staff, ensuring quality in their work and fostering growth
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for improving tax processes and implementing best practices
• Conduct research on complex tax issues and provide recommendations based on findings
• Support the development of forensic accounting skills within the team
• Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations while addressing client-specific needs
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for internal and external review
• Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing tax-related inquiries with expertise and attention to detail

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in public accounting, specifically in tax roles
• Proficiency in preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns
• Strong knowledge of federal income tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor staff effectively
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills related to complex tax issues
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and team interactions
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• CPA certification preferred
• Ability to work on-site in Metairie, Louisiana
