Job Description

We are seeking a Tax Manager to support the Head of Tax across all tax matters. This is a broad and hands-on role combining technical tax work, cross‑functional partnering and project delivery across multiple jurisdictions in a fast-moving fintech environment.

Job Responsibility

  • Oversee global corporate and indirect tax (VAT/GST) compliance across the US, EMEA and APAC regions, in collaboration with local advisors
  • Support the preparation of R&D claims
  • Ensure adherence to OECD Transfer Pricing requirements, including implementing the group transfer pricing policy
  • Manage tax implications of strategic projects (such as international expansion and new products)
  • Manage the tax implications of employee share schemes and valuations
  • Provide tax support on the analysis and implementation of the Crypto Asset Reporting Framework and Common Reporting Standard
  • Advise on international tax matters, including managing permanent establishment and WHT risks for global operations
  • Stay abreast of changes in global tax laws and regulations, anticipating impacts and adapting strategies proactively
  • Prepare robust tax policies and documentation
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Engineering, Sales and Product teams to manage tax implications of new initiatives

Requirements

  • Qualified tax professional (CTA, ACCA or equivalent) with experience in practice and/or in-house
  • Strong technical expertise across UK and international tax, including transfer pricing and global reporting standards
  • Commercial, pragmatic and risk aware, with the ability to translate tax technical concepts into business-focused and practical advice
  • Self-starter, open-minded, and hands-on attitude who can work independently and take ownership of projects

Nice to have

  • Experience in Big 4 or in-house at a fintech, financial services or digital asset business highly desirable
  • Indirect tax experience highly desirable
