Job Description:

The Tax Manager will play a pivotal role in tax-related matters, providing solutions to complex tax issues, maintaining client communication, and mentoring junior staff. Expertise in Federal Tax and proven experience in tax management are required.

Job Responsibility:

Review and manage complex business and individual tax returns
independently research and resolve advanced tax issues
effectively convey research findings and solutions to clients through both oral and written communication
consult with clients to address their tax concerns and provide appropriate solutions
liaise with governmental agencies in relation to tax matters
foster the development of less experienced tax staff through guidance and mentorship
ensure the adherence to IRS tax code rules and regulations within all operations
leverage Federal Tax skills to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of tax operations.

Requirements:

Minimum of 6 years of experience
experience as a Tax in a public setting
expertise in Federal Tax
2 years of reviewing returns
proven track record of managing a team and overseeing tax-related projects
proficiency in tax software and other related IT tools
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
relevant qualifications or certifications
robust understanding of tax laws, regulations, and industry updates
strong analytical and problem-solving skills
high level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism
ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
excellent client service and ability to manage client relationships effectively.
