As a Tax Manager – Latin America, you will be responsible for supporting the Regional Tax Senior Manager, ensuring tax compliance, supporting business operations, mitigating tax risks, and assisting strategic tax initiatives throughout the region. The role requires close interaction with Finance, Accounting, Legal, Treasury, Billing, Procurement, Sales, and external advisors, acting as a key business partner for operational and commercial activities in Latin America.
Job Responsibility
Manage regional tax compliance activities across multiple Latin American jurisdictions, including Corporate Income Tax, VAT/IVA, withholding taxes, and local statutory obligations
Coordinate with external tax advisors, finance teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate tax filings and reporting
Support preparation and review of Corporate Income Tax calculations, VAT reconciliations, and withholding tax validations
Assist with transfer pricing compliance, intercompany transactions, and cross-border operational reviews
Support tax audits, tax authority inquiries, and preparation of audit support documentation across the region
Support business units with tax analysis for bids, tenders, contracts, and commercial transactions
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to tax controls, governance, automation, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
University degree in Accounting, Law, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
7–8 years’ experience in a multinational tax environment, preferably supporting Latin America operations
Strong knowledge of Corporate Income Tax, VAT/IVA, withholding taxes, and international tax concepts
Experience with ERP platforms (Oracle preferred) and advanced MS Excel skills
Mandatory proficiency in English
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and work independently under tight deadlines.
