About the Company: Our client is an investment firm that uses a research-intensive approach to long/short equity investing primarily in the technology, consumer, and business services sectors.
Job Responsibility:
Manage tax‐related processes in coordination with fund administrators and external tax advisers including tax allocations, estimates, K‐1s, and returns
Prepare internal book‐to‐tax reconciliations for the fund and investor tax estimates
Oversee tax compliance for the funds and management company
Prepare and review various filings including sales and use tax, 1099s, quarterly PTET estimates, and quarterly UBT and commercial rent
Manage federal and state tax audits
Monitor and incorporate changes in tax legislation affecting funds or management company
Monitor and report on budget vs. actual performance on an ongoing basis
Manage bill pay process and ensure timely payment of expenses
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
