Manage full-cycle accounting for the main operating company and affiliated investment entities, including accruals, invoice coding review, journal entries, and monthly close tasks
Gather and reconcile financial information from externally managed real estate investments, then load that data into the company’s accounting records with a focus on accuracy and completeness
Partner with Finance and IT stakeholders to streamline and automate recurring accounting processes tied to imported investment data
Administer accounting for capital projects and fixed assets, including recurring entries, asset tracking, and reconciliation of related accounts
Prepare and file applicable state and local tax returns, including business, personal property, and sales or use tax filings
Oversee day-to-day banking activity by recording cash transactions, completing reconciliations, monitoring compliance items, and coordinating account maintenance
