Baker McKenzie Luxembourg is seeking a Tax Knowledge Officer to join our dynamic Tax team in Luxembourg. As part of the Tax team, you will work in close collaboration with the Tax Lawyers and Tax Specialists depending on the legal & tax issues and informational needs related to clients files.

Job Responsibility

  • Support Tax Team: Drafting the weekly tax watch
  • Doing tax researches
  • Knowledge management
  • Providing recommendations for the purchase of new books, legal revues and electronic databases
  • Business Development Support: Drafting client-facing materials such as tax alerts, quarterly legal updates, and briefings
  • Support business development initiatives
  • Leading and preparing clients’ tax conferences and presentations
  • Trainings: Organizing regular internal training sessions
  • Assisting in the training and induction of new joiners

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in tax law and/or PhD in tax law
  • Fluency in both English and French
  • Excellent written communication and drafting skills
  • Ability to be a team player with strong tax technical skills and effective communication skills
  • Highest working standards and strong service orientation
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and proactivity

Nice to have
