Job Description:

The Tax Group Manager is accountable for management of complex, critical, large professional disciplinary areas, providing oversight of compliance, financial reporting, and tax planning procedures while managing a team of professionals.

Job Responsibility:

Responsible for the overall management of the tax liabilities
Contributes to the planning, accounting, filing and reporting of tax liability
Assists in determining and compiling information required to satisfy income tax filing
May participate in managing payments to tax authorities
Directs and controls strategy and execution of the firm's activities within a major Infrastructure area
Recommends goals, policies, and plans for these areas with senior executives
Partners with the revenue areas to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity or control
Through management team, oversees all staff within the relevant Infrastructure area
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made
Effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability.

Requirements:

Total experience 15 to 17 Years
Relevant experience in FATCA/CRS 8 to 10 years
Extensive relevant experience in similar role or function
Experience dealing with Local Tax authorities with different jurisdictions/countries
Create and implement a governance process to provide assurance to partners
Support the creation of governance framework for inquiries
Support Qualified Intermediary governance, FATCA/legal entity management
Design and execution of targeted reviews of compliance
Provide advisory and SME support to TIR partners for internal advisory questions
Assist with review and roll-out of tax technical training.
