Job Description:

Our client, one of the main leaders in the beauty and fashion industry, is seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and analytical Tax Executive to join their Global Financial Services team based in Barcelona. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, international environment, providing Tax & Compliance services to subsidiaries worldwide. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting and coordinating global tax compliance and statutory reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to international regulations across all subsidiaries.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and coordinate global tax compliance, including corporate and indirect taxes, VAT, and other local tax obligations, ensuring alignment with regulations across multiple jurisdictions
  • Manage statutory reporting processes worldwide, ensuring accurate closings, reconciliations (IFRS vs. statutory), and continuous improvements
  • Prepare, review, and monitor key tax reports such as CIT liabilities, Pillar II, Country-by-Country reporting, and Total Group’s tax contribution
  • Liaise with tax authorities and coordinate with external advisors on notifications and audits in various jurisdictions
  • Collaborate with IT, accounting, controlling, and treasury teams to automate processes, validate tax codes, and develop controls ensuring compliance
  • Support integration of new companies and businesses, including transfer pricing agreements, Master File data analysis, and technical tax advisory
  • Monitor budget control for the tax department, local taxes, and insurance
  • Provide support and review for VAT and recurrent compliance matters

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar role, in a Finance department
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Accounting Degrees
  • Responsible, proactive, and self-reliant
  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Used to working under pressure with attention to detail
  • Experienced SAP and advanced Excel user
  • Solid knowledge of IT systems
