Job Description:

Robert Half is partnering with an established and respected law firm that is expanding and seeking a Tax Attorney with 2+ years of experience to join its Ft. Lauderdale office. This attorney will advise clients on complex state and federal tax matters and represent them in disputes with government agencies. Base salary up to $145,000, 1,600 billable hour requirement, full benefits package including bonus and 401(k) contribution and family-friendly work environment with long-term team stability.

Job Responsibility:

Advise clients on state and federal tax issues
Represent clients in audits, appeals, and the US Tax Court and Administrative Court
Draft and review legal documents to ensure compliance with tax deadlines
Conduct legal research to support case strategy
Collaborate with attorneys and staff on client matters

Requirements:

Member of the Florida Bar
LL.M. in Tax strongly preferred
3+ years of tax experience in a law firm or in-house setting
Excellent drafting and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong research and analytical abilities

LL.M. in Tax
