Job Responsibility:

Advising on the tax aspects of structured real estate transactions
Advising on the tax aspects of M&A, joint venture and other corporate transactions
Advising on the tax aspects of funds: hedge and debt, real estate and other asset classes
Advising on the tax aspects of international tax structures and cross-border transactions
Advising on the tax aspects of structured finance and capital markets
Advising on the tax aspects of insolvency and restructuring
Advising on the tax aspects of relevant VAT and indirect tax issues

Requirements:

A broad range of corporate-tax experience at a City or large regional practice
Experience in real estate tax and taxation of corporate transactions is an advantage
Tax Experience could in addition include funds taxation OR taxation of financial transactions
Commercially focussed with an intellectual curiosity
Confident in front of clients
Ability to work independently but know when to seek additional support
Confident to question tax “received thinking”
Clear and concise communication skills
Flexibility, and adaptability
