Job Responsibility
Prepare and review a range of tax returns, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with applicable regulations
Research tax issues and stay current on changing laws to support client work and planning strategies
Communicate with clients to gather information, address questions, and provide clear, professional guidance
Maintain organized documentation and ensure all work meets firm standards and expectations
Collaborate with team members across engagements while contributing to efficient workflows and high-quality deliverables
Pursue ongoing learning and development to strengthen technical expertise and stay aligned with industry trends
Requirements
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field
CPA certification or progress toward obtaining a CPA is highly desirable
1 to 3 years of experience in public accounting or a related field, with a focus on tax services
Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
Familiarity with accounting software
Experience with UltraTax is preferred
Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Adaptability and a commitment to flexibility
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Nice to have
Master’s degree in public accounting
CPA certification
